Bleeding Edge is a melee combat game developed by Ninja Theory and published by Xbox Game Studios. The closed beta was available on February 14, 2020. The game was be released on March 24, 2020.

Setting

The game is set in a futuristic world in the year 2057. World governments have become corrupt and corporate society only looks on. Tired of the system, Daemon forms a gang of misfits known as the Bleeding Edge. After taking his revenge on those who wronged him, Daemon takes the Bleeding Edge to the underworld of fighting circuits. It is here that he intends to recruit an army of the augmented to the Bleeding Edge and redeem himself for his past actions.

Gameplay

Bleeding Edge pits two teams of four players against one another in melee combat. Players are able to choose between a number of Fighters, with twelve Fighters currently available. Each fighter has their own unique characteristics and abilities. These abilities are divided into three categories: Basic, Specials, and Supers. The statistics of these abilities can be changed to suit a specific playstyle by equipping Mods to a Fighter. Fighters may also be customized to include their Boards, Emotes, and Skins.
